Last night we went down to Dickson Street and went to a show at the Boom Boom Room bar. As we are boring married people, we don't go to shows at bars much anymore, so this was pretty exciting. Our friend Ben's band Heypenny was playing. Ben was my roommate in college for a couple years and one of my best friends. Anyway, he has since moved to Nashville (Tennessee not Arkansas) and is trying to make it big with the band. His band and music is really good. The show last night was awesome, and we had a great time. I highly recommend you check them out if they play a show near you. sadly youtube doesn't really do them justice. glad you guys had a good time. i think ben puts on a really fun show.
